Team Canada Qualifiers

Once again Canada Cup Gaming is looking for the best players across Canada to represent our country! Considering the performance of the team members last year, there will be qualifier events in the following locations:

CALGARY – Sept. 16th at Dickens Pub - Winner: CCG Jozhear
TORONTO – Sept. 8th at A&C World as part of the Summer’s End Series - Winner: JS Master
As JS Master cannot attend Canada Cup 2012 the spot on Team Canada has been awarded to CCG Lap Chi Duong

MONTREAL – Sept. 22nd at Foonzo as part of September Slaughter – Winner: Chi Rithy

The winners of these events will receive plane ticket to the 2012 Canada Cup, and a guaranteed position on Team Canada. This leaves one remaining spot, and to decide this we will be holding qualifier events in the following locations:

VANCOUVER – Sept. 15th at E-Spot Billiards and Arcade - Winner: Clim
EDMONTON – Aug. 11 – 13 at Grant McEwan as part of Alberta Beatdown 3 – Winner: CCG Jozhear
As  CCG Jozhear and CCG Lap Chi Duong have secured hard spots on Team Canada, the qualifiers spot has been awarded to Phunkism

REGINA – Sept 29th at The Matrix Gaming Centre - Winner: Graeme
WINNIPEG – Aug 11 – 12 at Canadinns as part of TST7 – Winner: ShinAkuma204

The winners of these events will also receive a plane ticket to the 2012 Canada Cup, but will have to face off against each other in a round-robin tournament, where the winner will secure the last remaining position on team Canada.

We have conatacted local community members to help us organize these events, so much thanks to them!
**UPDATE – October 6th:

On Thursday October 25th at 7:00pm there will be one last chance for players with a proven tournament track record to vie for a spot on Team Canada. This will precede the round robin and only the winner will move on to challenge the four other players who have previously secured their spot in the Wild Card Round Robin.
