Now we can confirm it’s all true! Canada Cup 2013 will be held in Richmond, BC (part of the greater Vancouver Area doncha’know!) At the Vancouver Sheraton Airport. September 27th – 29th.

This year we are tuning up the format and turning up the hype. As of right now, we are offering a leaner selection of games and a bigger room. Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2012, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Street Fighter x Tekken and Injustice: Gods Among us are the games that will be on the roster this year.

We are VERY pleased to finally take the curtain back and present to everyone, the Mad Catz / Canada Cup 2012 VS Edition Arcade Stick.

These controllers are in very short supply. with only a handful existing. Of those we are proud to announce that 5 are going to the winning team of this year’s International 5 on 5. So, in addition to the Team winning their portion of the $5000 prize pool and earning international bragging rights they will have this beauty to hoist high above their heads as well!

This year Canada Cup is blowing past any previous prize pots offered in Canadian Fighting Game history.

Canada Cup 2012 is proud to announce that we will be providing over $15,000 in cash and prizes at this year’s event.

How is it going to work you ask? For starters, we are already sponsoring qualifying tournaments across Canada in partnership with local organizers, where each of the winners receive their travel to this year’s Canada Cup free of charge thanks to local organizers and us here at Canada Cup Gaming sharing the expense 50/50.
